Georgia's 5th Annual Gold Coin Hunt Returns To Salem This October!

Are you quick enough to find one of Salem's rarest keepsakes of 2023? Join the search for hidden gold coins designed by 12-year-old resident Georgia Wrenn in the city's 5th annual coin hunt! Georgia’s Salem-centric brand Georgia Made This features her artwork and celebrates all things spooky and whimsical. One gold coin will be hidden every Saturday and Sunday during October. Clues that lead to the historic hiding places will be released at noon on those days on Georgia’s Instagram page. Follow @GeorgiaMadeThis and @PeabodyEssex to join in the fun!

1. Sunday, October 1st: FOUND! At Plummer Hall.

2. Saturday, October 7th: FOUND! At the Phillips House.

3. Sunday, October 8th: FOUND! At the Gedney House.

4. Saturday, October 14th: FOUND! At the Lye Tapley Shoe Shop.

5. Sunday, October 15th: FOUND! At the Hawkes House.

6. Saturday, October 21st: FOUND! At the building that was known as "Jacob Bailey High School" in the film Hocus Pocus.

7. Sunday, October 22nd: FOUND! At the Daniel Bray House.

8. Saturday, October 28th: Found! At the Salem First Church.

9. Sunday, October 29th: Found! At The Blue Trees outdoor exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum.

10. Tuesday, October 31st: Found! At the Richard Manning House on Herbert Street.
